A President Obama Would INVADE PAKISTAN!
Obama Might Send Troops Into Pakistan
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Wednesday that he would possibly send troops into Pakistan to hunt down terrorists, an attempt to show strength when his chief rival has described his foreign policy skills as naive.
The Illinois senator warned Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf that he must do more to shut down terrorist operations in his country and evict foreign fighters under an Obama presidency, or Pakistan will risk a U.S. troop invasion and losing hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. military aid.
"Let me make this clear," Obama said in a speech prepared for delivery at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. "There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al-Qaida leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will."
The excerpts were provided by the Obama campaign in advance of the speech.
Obama's speech comes the week after his rivalry with New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton erupted into a public fight over their diplomatic intentions.
Obama said he would be willing to meet leaders of rogue states like Cuba, North Korea and Iran without conditions, an idea that Clinton criticized as irresponsible and naive. Obama responded by using the same words to describe Clinton's vote to authorize the Iraq war and called her "Bush-Cheney lite."
The speech was a condemnation of President Bush's leadership in the war on terror. He said the focus on Iraq has left Americans in more danger than before Sept. 11, 2001, and that Bush has misrepresented the enemy as Iraqis who are fighting a civil war instead of the terrorists responsible for the attacks six years ago.
"He confuses our mission," Obama said, then he spread responsibility to lawmakers like Clinton who voted for the invasion. "By refusing to end the war in Iraq, President Bush is giving the terrorists what they really want, and what the Congress voted to give them in 2002: a U.S. occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences."
Obama said that as commander in chief he would remove troops from Iraq and putting them "on the right battlefield in Afghanistan and Pakistan." He said he would send at least two more brigades to Afghanistan and increase nonmilitary aid to the country by $1 billion.
He also said he would create a three-year, $5 billion program to share intelligence with allies worldwide to take out terrorist networks from Indonesia to Africa.

Next to John Edwards, Obama is the most inept politician I have ever seen. Can you imagine being Pervez Musharraf waking up to this news today? We NEED this guy! Not to mention Pakistan is a sovereign nation who is an ally as best as he can be and at great peril to his own life in the Global War On Terror. Does Obama truly believe that catching Usama (Who I think is dead and has been for some time) and dragging he and his cohorts out of a cave somewhere in Waziristan (If they are really even there) that Al-Qaeda will stop attacking us? Is Obama really that stupid? Obama does NOT have the foreign policy expertise, lacks all sense of Military operations completely, and has no clue how to run a war. Maybe if President CLINTON had of gotten Usama Bin Laden in the '90's when HE had a clear shot to take him out, we wouldnt be in this mess today!!

Obama is falling in the polls and he is realizing that the best he can hope for is the bottom of the ticket under the Hildabeast.
So by chiming in on the Pakistan situtiation he is trying to court moderates who believe that we shoudld figth but only if its against UBL. this is a ploy for votes and nothing more. He is a loser!

"Is Obama really that stupid?"
I would say that he is if he thinks any patriotic American would vote for someone named B. Hussein Obama.
Vote for Hillary. She has a New Look
Aholibama at least has better hair.
Whacked and stupid, Marie! You asked if he were really that stupid. I think every indication proves that he indeed is just that. I really don't see how anyone can take this guy seriously.
I don't think obama hussein is stupid, I think he is a typical democrap that thinks his constituents are stupid. He is probably right about that but the people that would vote Obama can't even point to pakistan or Iraq on a map let alone knowing what it would take to invade such a place. Lets's start with elevation and lack of oxygen at those altitudes just for beginners.
Bush said the same thing last year, why is this even news?
Here's the link to Bush saying he would send troops into Pakistan, with or without their consent:
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/20/bush.intv/index.html
So...let me get my head around this. We have a guy with no power or authority to decide that saying he would invade Pakistan to catch terrorists and then we have a guy who said this a year ago, that HAS the power AND authority to do that, AND is ignorant and arrogant enough to actually do it and who do we focus on? Obama?
Brilliant.
