Egyprt is massing troops on the Sinai to prevent Hamas from escaping to the South. The PA is all but urging Israel on and Syria is staying silent!

If you are so concerned about the terrorist's and innocent's getting killed then you need to have a one on one with the leaders of Hamas yourself and tell them to move thier Missile Launchers OUT of unpopulated areas!

What about all the schools and hospitals and innocent people Hamas hit's with those rocket's every single day that they fire into Israel?

The Israelis have been taking Gaza over inch by inch since the late 1960's.

The Sabra and Shatila massacre (or Sabra and Chatila massacre )was carried out between 16 and 18 September 1982 by the Lebanese Forces militia group after the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) allowed Lebanese Christian Phalangist militiamen to enter two Palestinian refugee camps, and the militia massacred civilians inside. It was argued that the Israelis should have known that a massacre could occur, considering the assassination of Phalangist leader and prospective president Bachir Gemayel two days before, and given the long history of animosity between the Palestinians and the Phalangists.

You have to look at Hamas like you would look at the Taliban in Afghanistan. What if U.S. forces entered Afghanistan and just murdered at random innocent Afghans and then claimed, "Well, the Taliban started it and we won't stop until they stop shooting rockets."

It's ludicrous and it is completely illogical and illegal.

Israel was given land per the UN agreement and has taken over land that was designated for Palestinian Arabs. This is why countries like Syria and Egypt (and occasionally Turkey) struggle with Israel's existence. The West has turned a blind eye to Israel's aggressive territorial expansion in the epicenter of Arab (Muslim) culture.

I'm not saying that violence is acceptable. I have been outspoke against the Iraq war, and most war in general, and despite having issues with Israel and its history, still strongly oppose Hamas' reaction to Israel's aggression.

What is getting really tiring is Israel's influence on American foreign policy in the Middle East.

Israel has a blank check in the eyes of the NeoConned, and of America in general, and usually adheres to an entirely different standard than any other country in the Middle East.

This is understood if you do some research on AIPAC.

But this requires reading...not merely listening to Hannity and Limbaugh talk out of their sphincters and get everyone to hate.
