Shoot off some fireworks for me, Marie, and enjoy a picnic too. It's raining here, so we're housebound. Housbound, but still happy! :)

Well yall, I dont think we will have much of a fireworks show, we have to go downtown to watch it.

You would think after 30 inches of rain they would lift the burn ban?

I'm just hoping we get through the day without Chia Pet Over in N.Korea Lobbing missiles at us this time.

It's time to bust out the BBQ! Wooooooooooooo Hooooooooooo!!!!

Here I am!

Blessings to all on this glorious day.

Thank you to all who have served with honor and courage!

From Boston, the Cradle of Liberty.

I heard the Declaration of Independence read from the Old State HOuse where 231 years ago, on July 18, 1776, a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillary read it to the patriots of Boston.

Then I went to Boston Harbor (hahbah) and watched as Old Ironsides did her annual "turnaround" and gave her 21 gun salute!

Perfect day!

I hope you a nice 4th Marie. I think the rain finally is letting up on you, I guess God answered mine and all the other prayers that were said in your behalf. You know though, just like anything else you have to be careful for what you pray for. I prayed it would stop raining at Marie's and it did (for the most part) but then it moved up here to Pennsylvania and they canceled all the fireworks. Dang!

That's OK though we'll have fireworks over the weekend and hopefully Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas will dry out.

Joanne I hope you didn't have a hard time finding a place to pak the cah down at the hahbuh;-)
