Matthews: Obama Speech Caused 'Thrill Going Up My Leg'
During MSNBC's live coverage of Tuesday's presidential primary elections, after the speeches of Barack Obama and John McCain had aired, Chris Matthews expressed his latest over the top admiration for Obama's speaking skills as the MSNBC anchor admitted that Obama's speech created a "thrill" in his leg: "It's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often." Minutes later, Brian Williams poked fun at Matthews' confession: "Let's talk about that feeling Chris gets up his leg when Obama talks ... That seems to be the headline of this half hour."
At about 10:13 p.m., right after McCain finished his speech, which came after Obama's speech, co-anchor Keith Olbermann remarked that, due to Obama's unusual speaking skills, it was a good idea for any other speaker to speak before the Illinois Democrat instead of after him. Matthews then expressed what he referred to as an "objective assessment" of Obama's speech:

This is getting out of hand, like I heard a Fox News reporter earlier missed his line and said "And here's so and so, in bed with the Obama campaign in Illinois"!
He was suppose to say "Embedded" lol
There sure is Obama fever going on out there, and some um, well, special feelings too :-)
He said similar things about McCain...he's just weird. He is the conservative on MSNBC, bashing Hillary, Edwards and Obama frequently. What is up with the homo-erotic feelings? Geez, you'd think he hangs out in the Minneapolis Airport bathroom all day or something...

But not quite... I get a special feeling when I hear Obama speak too. It's called "numb". I keep waiting to hear him say something, anything at all, about issues, but I wait in vain. If I had a special feeling up my leg it would be because it had fallen asleep out of sympathy for my brain.
That is why Obama is so dangerous. He mezzmerizes and no one knows what he stands for or who he really is!

Matthews is just plain unpopular and so is is his show "Hardboiled" for the very reasons you just read. Hey if he's got something for the guy then go for it. That doesn't bother me. Matthews is from Philly so nothing surprises me.
Matthews has got a brother named Jim who is a County commissioner in Montgomery County PA, the county right next door to mine. Jim Matthews is one of those moderate republican guys that have been irritating the hell out of conservatives here in PA.
The guy that got the most votes for one of the three commissioner positions is a real conservative, and the former no nonsense DA but Jim Matthews a supposed republican decided to team up with the person that had the least amount of votes, a democrat named Joe Hoeffel (a former US rep for the 13th district) to form a majority so they can all just along in spite of the two to one republican majority. Ain't that nice?
Chris Matthews gets on the radio with the Philly Rino in the morning talk radio host Michael Smirconish and they like to compare how liberal Chris is compared to his brother but that discusion always leaves me wondering what the heck do they mean.
This is how the libs are. It is like their politicians are cheap one night stands. They used to get a thrill over Bill and Hillary, now they have thrown them out and are thrilled over Obama.
I mean, come on, Obama is more like Angelina Jolie as opposed to Hillary who has the "Madeline Allbright" appeal. ;~)
I call it Obamamania.
