YOU CAN BE REPLACED!

Congress Returns, Ready To Battle Bush

Here we go again! Let's Battle Bush. He's the real enemy isnt he? Not Al-Queada, not Radical Islam, not Nutball in Iran or Nutball In Venezeula, NO! It's President Bush we must battle according to Congress!! What the hell is wrong with these people? We are in the middle of a war and our own Congress want's to battle our own President? Here is a snip of what our Congress is back and up to:

WASHINGTON - Congressmen returning from their Independence Day break are ready for battle with the White House, with Democrats decrying President Bush's commutation of former aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby's prison sentence and fighting Bush's latest claim of executive privilege.
Both events occurred around Congress' vacation, inflaming an intense battle between Democrats and Bush over his use of executive power. There was relatively high tension on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue as majority Democrats—and increasing numbers of Republicans—challenged Bush's Iraq war policy.

Rest Of Story Here, Yadda Yadda Yadda

And if this isnt enough more of our Backstabbing Republicans are letting themselves get talked into not supporting our Troops or our President by the Retreat-In-Defeat Democrats!

Judd Gregg R-NH 202-224-3324

Pete Domenici R-NM 202-224-6621

John Warner R-VA 202-224-2023

Dick Lugar R-IN 202-224-4814

Lamar Alexander R-TN 202-224-4944

Chuck Hagel R-NE 202-224-3254

Olympia Snowe R-ME 202-224-5344

Susan Collins R-ME 202-224-2523

Remember these faces!! And here's a snip of thier nutball rhetoric:

Sen. Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, who helped lead the charge earlier this year against Democratic efforts to oppose Bush's troop buildup, said: "We don't seem to be making a lot of progress."

Rest Of Story Here, Yadda Yadda Yadda

Gee Judd, ya think you could wait till September before you give your assinine assesment? I think General Patreaus knows alot more about what the hell is going on, on the ground in Iraq than YOU do!

Same thing with Domenici. How about supporting our Troops and wait till the assessment in September, """SEPTEMBER""", before you sniveling little RINO'S add your Two Cent's! Yes that's right I'm going after the RINO Republican's too, and they can be replaced just as easy as anyone else up for re-election next year! How about with some non-whining Republicans? How about oh just for the hell of it let's support our Troops, and let the Generals on the ground in Iraq handle this war? And how about us fighting the real enemies of this Country instead of our own President? What to much to ask? Who has the power? WE DO!!!!!

These RINO'S are pulling this because the MSM and liberal polling has made those inside the beltway believe the rhetoric that the people want to surrender.

The truth of the matter is most are war weary but do not want to leave until the mission is completed.

I'll bet that the RINO'S are up for election next year . I know House members are but I'll bet the Sentors are also and this is their first campign move to distance themselves from Bush to get a vote.

We GOP would rather see our representatives use backbone and stand for core values and right rather than try and pander for votes.

That is the liberal way of governing and the RINO'S fall all to willingly into that trap.

Marie, after years of having to deal with these spineless wonders and my own Senator at the head of the spineless pack Arlen Fencesitter, I have come to expect this. In Maine you have two dimwitted dimbulbs with Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe. Expect to see them jump ship if they already haven't. They are getting close to the 60 vote mark and with another defector or two they'll have their defeat.

Let's take an assessment here.

Domnenici, Lugar, Voinovich, Spector, Hagel, Gregg, Warner, Alexander, and count on Collins to collapse. Snowe will be the deciding vote of no confidence. Be prepared because this is the classic pattern of these back stabbers. They have done this time and time again. I have no answers only my contempt for these disloyal and shortsighted indivuals.

I hope these idiot's are prepared for what will happen to the Iraqi people once we pullout to early.

Will they be willing to live with millions of Iraqi's killed and the entire Sovereign Nation of Iraq turned into a terrorist playground? And hand Al-Queada a Victory?

TIME TO BURN UP THE PHONE LINES PEOPLE!!

Just wondering, do you think the right would support our adventure in Iraq if Bill Clinton would have started it?

Be honest now, k?

anon,

In all honesty, I really don't know. Speaking for myself, I think it's a faulty premise of a question, in some sense. That's because I recognize the fact that we cannot afford to lose in Iraq; whether I would have approved or disapproved of the reasoning behind going into Iraq, once so committed, I believe we as Americans should be in it to "win". Iraq has become the central front. For so many reasons, defeat and retreat should be an option that is off the table. The problem for the left, is they perceive this as an optional war...as Bush's war. I can see arguments for why it might have been that in the beginning. But with how things have unfolded, victory in Iraq is deeply tied in to America's security. We ARE fighting al Qaeda in Iraq- and elsewhere. Regardless of the political benchmarks pressured by Congress, I think it misses the point. Perceiving us as "babysitting" a civil war misses the importance of victory in Iraq. Perceiving us as doing it out of sheer compassion and humanitarianism, not to abandon the Iraqi people, is noble and honorable, but also misses the point. The point is, that to defend Iraq, at this stage, is to defend America. The repercussions of even the perception of an American defeat would be enormous.

I've never hated Clinton to the degree that I would not show him the proper respect due a sitting President. There is a time to disagree, and a time to stand together.

The problem with you question, as I perceive it, is, for this to be a war of Clinton's choosing, is to make up the hypothetical that he acted as I would expect of a Republican strong-on-defense president to have acted. It would be as though you were to hypothesize, would we agree with Al Sharpton and support him, if he denounced affirmative action and lauded America as one of the least racist nations on the planet, where anyone who works hard enough, has the opportunity but not the right, to get ahead in life.
