Tom Delay at least smiled all big and proud for his "Mug Shot"
This whole thing is getting quite rediculous. I hope after Tom Delay is cleared of all charges, he sues Earle, and I would DEMAND if I was Delay that he (Earle) makes a complete public apology for all the crap he caused Tom Delay and clears Delay's name in Public. That is the only course Earle could take to clear his (Earle's) own name because by the time Delay's lawyers get done with Earle HE will be the one under Indictment for filing false charges against Delay, and Grand Jury shopping. After Earle is done getting the crap knocked out of him by Delay's lawyers he, (Earle) should go after Nancy Pelosi (Since he proclaims to go after Democrats too)
after all she has done nothing different than Tom Delay, she just hasnt been indicted for it yet!! We will be waiting!!

I was glad to see him smile in the mug shot. The left will try to use this picture for a political advantage but when the charges are dropped and they will be because no crime has been committed and this political whitch hunt is shown for what it is, this smile will give DeLay the last laugh!

Bickle, I have a funny feeling that's why he smiled. As to give the impression that he IS going to have the last laugh. Did you know the judge presiding over his case today is a Democrat and contributed quite a sum of money to MoveOn.org who is now selling T-Shirts with Tom Delay's "Mug Shot" on them? I think another judge would be appropriate. Maybe even a change of Venue after this nonsense has been revealed.
Liberatarian, the supposed evidence was overwhelming in Kay Baily Hutchison's case also, and Ronnie Earle blew that one too. He (Ronnie Earl) may claim this is not Political, and he may have gone after a few Democrats in his time, (Moderate Ones) not Liberal's like the Teddy Kennedy's, but that's the point. If they arent entirely Liberal, or if they are Republican, WATCH OUT! Because Ronnie Earle will have it in for you. The Democrats are pissed off in Texas because Tom Delay was successful in getting portions of some counties redistricted, and the Republicans picked up 5 seats in the 2004 elections. Which this stuff goes on all the time on both sides of the aisle. Democrats as well as Republicans. I clearly remember when all this redistricting thing was going on and the Democrats in Texas fled to Oklahoma (Where I Live) so they wouldnt have to vote! That was a pretty chicken-..it thing to do. You dont see Republicans run to another state to avoid a vote! But its almost impossible NOT to smell the corruption in the air on this one, Ronnie Earle is making a movie about taking down Tom Delay which is a conflict of interest as it is, he knew if he got him indicted by Republican rules (The Democrats dont Police themselves)that Delay would have to step down as Majority Leader. Then you have a judge who presides over the case that has contributed money to MoveOn.org the very organization that is selling T-Shirts right now with Tom Delay's "Mug Shot" on them. Nancy Pelosi has done the same things Tom Delay has, and there is nothing illegal or wrong with that, but I dont see her indicted. Then again she is from California, what Democrat in Cali, is going to indict her for doing the same things as Delay? This whole thing is nothing more than a Political witchhunt!
Dang, Marie, you go for a week without posting at all and then you suddenly post a flurry in a couple of days.
Ronnie Earle will no doubt lose his job over this and may even be jailed. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy in my opinion.
