Iraqi's Vote In Record Numbers On Constitution
Iraqi's came out to vote today on the new Iraqi Constitution in Historic numbers.
In America's last General Election we had like 62% come to the polls which is good but could have been better. The difference is we didnt have to worry about bombs going off all over our Country, we had to endure slashing of Republican "Get Out The Vote" van tires that would have carried would be voters to thier polling places, Dead people registered to vote, faulty exit polls, Convicted Felons registered to vote, and wide spread voter fraud brought on by the Democrats in most every state because they were so bound and determined to win come hell or high water but thankfully thier plot and plans didnt work. All that aside...
These Brave Iraqi's went to the polls with a 65% voter turnout, amongst death threats, a few attacks not as many as in January, and bravely stuck thier fingers in the Purple ink once more to prove to the WORLD they want Democracy! And some will argue there is NO exit strategy. Once again the nay-sayers have been proven wrong. As the Iraqi's are getting thier Country as together as they can amidst contant violence, I think the strategy is clear. The Iraqi's vote, they become a Democracy, Iraqi Soldiers stand up, American Troops stand down, and in the very near future our troops will begin to come home, the terrorists in Iraq will be handled by the Iraqi's, or the terrorists will pack up thier toys and go home once they see Iraq isnt going to put up with that nonsense much longer, Iraq is in charge of thier own Country, our Troops come home, America has another Ally in the Middle East, end of story.
