Kucinich: Impeach Cheney Now

Kucinich Pushes Impeach Cheney Resolution

IMPEACH DENNIS KUCINICH....IMPEACH DENNIS KUCINICH....IMPEACH DENNIS KUCINICH....

IMPEACH RON PAUL TOO....IMPEACH RON PAUL TOO....IMPEACH RON PAUL TOO....

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) plans to take to the floor of the House Tuesday and introduce a privileged resolution to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney. The privilege approach allows him to circumvent Democratic leadership, which opposes voting on the measure.

His resolution will be met with a motion to table it. A vote against the motion will be a vote in favor of impeaching Cheney – as Kucinich explains over and over in this...

....YouTube clip taken from a presidential campaign stop.

An American Research Group poll this summer found more than half of Americans support his impeachment. No telling how many supported Dennis Kucinich Impeachment.

Regardless, the measure is expected to fail by a wide margin.

This is actually rather interesting:

Republicans had originally decided to go along with Hoyer and kill the resolution, but halfway through voting GOP lawmakers en masse changed their "yes" votes to "nays."

Bringing a vote on the impeachment resolution would put Democrats on record over impeachment, a move that Republicans figured could end up a political advantage in a year that has been marked by little progress from the Democratic-led Congress.

When Republicans succeeded on a 162-251 vote to allow the resolution to be debated, Hoyer then moved to send the resolution, which had not gone through traditional channels, to the Judiciary panel for consideration. That motion passed, but Conyers could decide to bury the legislation.

Hey Marie,... Dennis the Menace sees aliens like most of us, ...however his aliens didn't sneak across the border on a truck tube.

The only thing i can think of off the top is ...they raised the minimum wage, saving the lives of billions and billions and billions of teenagers lives from bankruptcy... and eliminating jobs in the process,....
I would, in this situation, quote Will Rogers (Birthday this month) and say that ..."we should all be thankful that we're not gettin' all the government we're payin' for".

Dick Cheney is one of my heroes, btw- i shook the hand that shook hands with Karl Rove recently, ...who, I'm told ...shook hands with Dick Cheney! lol

Hey Marie, If you would be so kind I would like to get your comments on my two questions for Biden and Clinton post.

I love the way that the GOP in the House would not let the Dems back away from this thing and prevent it from making the falk that it did.

Alien Dennis is a nut case but the Dems also allowed this loonie to present this on the floor. I think the leadership may have been surpirsed it did not go anywhere and when it di not they tried to cover their liberal butts but the GOP held them to the fire!

Word,

That would have been so funny to turn that around on the Dems and force a vote in the Judiciary.

This already proves how much time Congress can waste on all these crazy bull**** schemes, on our dime.

I wish they would just go home for the Holidays.

Gayle,

I hope to God this teaches the Republicans that sat the last election out a HUGE lesson.

Red,

You shook the hand of someone who shook the hand of Cheney? lol good for you! Be over there in a bit :-)

Ken,

I am picturing a Paul/Kucinich or vise versa ticket! That's what we all need two moonbats running the Country!

Hilary, What reason is there to impeach Ron Paul? What has he done besides CONSISTENTLY follow the constitution, introduce bills to limit and roll back the size of the federal government, try to repeal the clearly unconstitutional infringements on the second amendment, and in general stay loyal to the ideals of the founders and true to his word?

As for your pathetic "fred '08 actor" banner...what we got with the last one was sold out.

Looks like the Republicans just said OK, go ahead and impeach Cheney we're going sit back and watch this circus. Boy did the demodumbs back off fast on that.

As far as the moron anon commenter goes. Ron Paul is an idiot. You morons have pumped him up to be something he has never been, intelligent and knows little about the Constitution and it's history.

As far as SCHIP is concerned. I don't think there is a sensible American that doesn't think having health care for poor children is a bad idea. If we would afford that our taxes would go to the needy there isn't a single problem with that. It's when they try and expand the programs to people that can afford insurance or are able to work to pay for insurance. Americans are generous enough to say "yes, we'll take care of those people that cannot take care of themselves because of physical, mental or temporary disabilities along with poor children". That's not socialism anonymous asshat that's called sharing and taking care of your own.

Socialism is when everyone is forced into a single payer system. You and your ronulans are whack jobs and it doesn't matter how much money you raise for that old moron he stands no chance of winning the republican primary and cannot win a general election. He is a loser like yourself anonymous butt-for- brains.
