Just out of Curiosity anyone notice the way President Reagan looked at threats then to our Country and the way President Bush sees them?

Almost Identical!

Gosh Marie, I watched those videos a couple of time. I sure miss those days and Ron Reagan.

Yeah, Bush has many of the same ideas but he cannot articulate them and inspire people like Reagan did. The same crowd of hate mongering libs attacked Reagan but he was able to make mockery of them.

Jenn,

I have to agree Bush is not the best Rhetorical Flamethrower lol

If he was we wouldnt be hearing all the crap we are today out of the left.

But the similarities between the two men and the threats to our Country then and now, the similarities are astounding!

Identical? Are you kidding me? Reagan would've NEVER had a bunch of neo-cons working for him.

Marie: Love the Reagan surge! What brought it on?

As for your anonymouse commenter, Reagan developed the Neocons who are running things today.

You want a list?

LMAO! Anon says "neo-cons" like it's a bad word.

Bush has many of the same ideas but he cannot articulate them and inspire people like Reagan did.

Not just Bush, but the whole Administration has been sadly lacking in articulating on the PR front, and in the propaganda dept. The perceptions of this war has been largely shaped by the liberal media. It's now a given by the "man on the street" that "Bush lied us into this war", that it's "Halliburton getting rich", and so on.

If it weren't for the conservative voice over the internet (I don't think talk radio would be enough anymore), the perception problem would be drastically worse against the President.

Annoyance just doesn't get it. He believes looking through a pin hole he's sees the whole picture. It's sad, he's no better than the libs.

All patriotic Americans and especially all unpatriotic anti-American appeasers should view these.

Wow, wow and Wow!!! I can't believe how that Goldwater speech is more relevant today than it even was when Reagan first made it over 40 yrs. ago. It was such a good find that I posted it over at the other blog I blog at, The Astute Bloggers and I also posted the words. Awesome stuff!! This is exactly why so many of us loved and adored this man and why I bawled when he died.

You are also right about him and W being identical when it comes to the threats our country faces. Thats why I have remained loyal to W despite his other failings that so many people seem to be willing to throw him under the bus for.

Wonderful post Marie!!
