Beautiful photos! Here I am, practically in the Arctic Circle, and still no snow! And it's the middle of January! Something is amiss.

It's raining here in PA. I see my little buddy the Cardinal has come to pay you a visit Marie. I think he likes the snow because it makes him stand out, that little showoff :-)

Last year we had snow just about every week and I got sick of it. We're getting a break this year so far. Sometimes it nice to have life slow down and be quiet for a while.

I don't like the snow and cold like I used to, one of these days when I can put enough money together I would love to move as far south as I can where they never heard of snow and it stays t-shirt weather all year round.

Are you kaarazy? This is great, my natural gas heat hasn't come on in days. I'm saving big time from this weather. Didn't you notice how much they've jacked prices on natural gas right before the winter even though there is a surplus of natural gas on the market? I live out here in the hinterlands and snow is just another thing to deal with but I count my blessings every day that the temperature stays high enough to give me a break on my heating bill. I'm just sorry that Marie is getting the brunt of this winter's bad weather.

Hang in there Marie. I lived in Arkansas in the early 70's and know how winter ice storms can knock that region for a loop. Your most likely not posting because either your power is out or your internet access is out because of the storm. Hope when you read this everything is getting back to normal. Its the pits to be snowed in with the time to spend on the web that you always wanted and can't because the white beuaty kept you from doing it!

JG,

I know by the time I reply to this the storm will have already hit you, I think it was headed your way.

Get ready the one that will hit us next look's to come your way too.

I wish I would have got a picture with a Cardinal and a Blue Jay in it. That would have been pretty.

Well Night I did it completely backwards, I grew up in California and moved to Oklahoma 15 years ago, I never had winters growing up, and I cherish them now. Except when the power goes out over it.

I'm trying Ken.

You guessed it, power problems, internet access problems, head cold problems, yeah this has been a doosy. And there is more Snow and Ice on the way!! I love winter but crap. When this stuff hangs on for days without melting it get's to you after a while.

I am really having some issues with Al gore at the moment.
