Mariee, you're (barely) old enough to recall firsthand when Ronald Reagan was going to blow up the world, or so people like Helen Caldicott and the converted atheist Carl Sagan would have had us believe.
Where are these people now? Nowhere to be found, and I think it's because they think that American nuclear weapons are more of a threat than nuclear weapons in the hands of the Islamo-fruitcake element.
Ever wonder how Dr. Caldicott would sound if she had to talk from under a tablecloth?
The negotiate with Iran crowd will not believe this fact until an Iran Nuke blows up over downtown Tel-Aviv or New York.
Mossad and Aman have the Iranian nuke program under a microscope, and I suspect that when Ahmadmanjihad's about ready to let fly and our own western diplojerks and politicians are still jawing, Israel will engage in some spectacular preemptive activity.
