The PASSIONATE AMERICA webmaster tells the OKLAHOMAN that "he stumbled onto the former page's AOL screen name when looking at transcripts of the instant messages on ABC's Web site on Saturday. He said he typed a slightly-different Web address into his browser and found a version of the transcript with the screen name.
The AOL name of the young man was kept unredacted and housed on ABCNEWS.COM servers for 5 days!
The information could be publicly accessed.
ABC explains in a statement: "On Friday, ABC News published instant messages between a former page and Congressman Foley with the IM screen name of the teenage victim redacted. Okay. I see, the real scandal here is that one of the several pages that Foley wanted to disrobe was 18 during some of the naughty emails, even though he was 17 when the hunt began.

There is no telling about Foley and his creepy pervy activities.
However if it was Foley and that one guy who was 18, inappropriate as it was, it was still between 2 consenting adults if he was 18. But there if there is other creepy stuff about Foley and anyone underage Foley should have resigned. But we will just see how this all plays out when this all hit's the news.

Marie, I've seen your link to the Westboro nut cases. I've known about them for a long time but I didn't hear that they planned to come Amish country until Wednesday. The Lutheran Women's oraganization I belong to were putting together a prayer vigil to separate the lunatics from our friends in the Amish community during the funerals. Then later in the day after we got things really going we found out that they weren't showing up. We decided since the looneys weren't coming we wouldn't go over there so our friends could mourn together without more people around.
Our State police did a magnificiant job of keeping the media back to afford the Amish privacy. We plan on having some kind of prayer meeting with our Amish friends in the near future just to give them some time to let things calm down.
You're right though, someone is going to come unhinged one of these times and the Westboro nut jobs are going to be on the receiving end of some family member's fury. I felt that fury myself when I found out they were coming here but knowing my Amish friends would completely disapprove of taking any kind of vengeful action against these nutcases I would have behaved myself.
The area where I live is one of the most conservative in the whole state of Pennsylvania. There hasn't been a Democrat sent to Congress from this area since before the Civil war. We keep some dems around for some laughs but they aren't taken seriously though.

Marie, I've seen your link to the Westboro nut cases. I've known about them for a long time but I didn't hear that they planned to come Amish country until Wednesday. The Lutheran Women's oraganization I belong to were putting together a prayer vigil to separate the lunatics from our friends in the Amish community during the funerals. Then later in the day after we got things really going we found out that they weren't showing up. We decided since the looneys weren't coming we wouldn't go over there so our friends could mourn together without more people around.
