There you go Mrs. Green. At least we can see eye to eye on some things, like never forgetting those who perished that awful day.

Thank you, Marie. Like your friend, my friend, Kevin McCarthy, also worked for Cantor Fitzgerald.

I tried to post this on 9/11, but the comments were disabled.

I'm glad you've linked to the site that Kevin's sister made for him.

Thank you.

His death has left a hole in our hearts, as, I'm sure, your friend's death has.

Amen.

Your welcome.

Yeah I had comments off for 9-11, but maybe I should have left it to where people could have posted thier own tributes.
Maybe that would have been the best tribute I could have given.

I cant take any credit for knowing Vincent R. Slavin, I only know about him. I feel like I know him now though. And I feel for his family, and everyone who knew him.

I signed up for the 2996 tribute, and was asighned him. But through the whole process finding out about him, although I didnt find out everything I wanted to know, it made me feel like I know him now.

Cantor Fizgerald seems like they lost almost all thier friends and employees in the WTC that day! They really got hit hard.

Between the boming in Oklahoma City, All the terrorist attacks we have encountered, Two Wars, and all the attacks on 9-11, I feel like I have to many holes in my heart to count.

I'm sorry for your loss, and Kevin's sister made a beautiful tribute to her brother.

Mrs Green, I am terribly sorry for the loss of your friend, Kevin mcCarthy.

I wanted to comment here on 9/11 as well and came back a few times to check and see. I think the comments I received on my tribute post did more to honor the memories of David Gamboa-Brandhorst and his fathers Ron and Daniel than the actual post did.

Thanks for bringing attention to the memory of Vincent Slavin. None of the victims of that awful day should ever be forgotten.

Well thank's you guys I really feel like crap for not leaving comments ON for 9-11.

I didnt think there would be so many of you that wanted to post tributes HERE on 9-11.

I figured Sweet Cheeks or someone would come tear up the tribute so I turned OFF comments!

My bad, I wont make that mistake next year.

Word, dont you feel now since looking into the person whom you gave a tribute to, that you kind of know them a little? I do. It's a strange feeling, I havent been able to shake yet, and maybe one that I really dont want to. I was unsure about how Vinny's family would feel if I posted his picture if they happen to run across the tribute on 9-11 so I didnt.

But he will never be forgotten by me now. None of them will.

I sure wish they would have done something like that for the victims of the Murrah building, but then again there werent alot of blogs back then.

Marie,

I put in a request to blog on Ron Gamboa. I knew him. He was already taken, along with his life partner; but their 3 year old son was not. So I blogged about their son. It was heartbreaking.

I'm sorry for your loss Word!

I didnt know any of these people, but I feel I do now after signing on for the 2996.
I had no idea I would feel this way after signing on for the 2996. But I'm glad I did.

I do know what you felt though, I lost a few in the Murrah Building.

ALL these attacks, Homegrown or Organized Terrorist's MUST be stopped!

And EVERONE we have lost EVERYWHERE MUST be remembered.
