VP Moderator Gewn Ifill In The Tank For Obama

The moderator of tomorrow's vice-presidential debate is writing a book to come out on the day the next president takes the oath of office that aims to "shed new light" on Democratic candidate Barack Obama and other "emerging young African American politicians" who are "forging a bold new path to political power."

Gwen Ifill of the Public Broadcasting Service program "Washington Week" is promoting "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama," in which she argues the "black political structure" of the civil rights movement is giving way to men and women who have benefited from the struggles over racial equality.

Ifill declined to return a WND telephone message asking for a comment about her book project and whether its success would be expected should Obama lose. But she has faced criticism previously for not treating candidates of both major parties the same.

During a vice-presidential candidate debate she moderated in 2004 – when Democrat John Edwards attacked Republican Dick Cheney's former employer, Halliburton – the vice president said, "I can respond, Gwen, but it's going to take more than 30 seconds."

Hmmmmm! I dont think this woman should be moderating the VP debate. She wont be fair to Gov. Sarah Palin. She will deffinately be more favorable to Joe Biden. SOMEONE ELSE DO THE MODERATING!!!

When I first read of this at Ray's I was floored. How much more advantage can the MSM give Obama and Biden? Does anyone think that there is the slightest chance that this will be fair. Yeah, kinda like Charles Gibson, even worse! It's unbelievable to me that she should even be considered for this.

The truth shall set us free. And God, I sure hope it won't be Obama's "truth," because we're in for some hard times.

So hope Sarah will not be too nervous tonight, I hate to say it but if she doesn't slam it out of the park, it will be a big blow for the GT.O.P.

Oh me of little faith - of course she's gonna slam it.

Yes, I saw this, what the hell is that about?
She's in Obama's pocket.
As for our gal Sarah, I think after tonight, she will be in full attack mode. It will be Sarah Unleased from now onward. This may be the make or break moment. She has to kiss azz tonight.Take No Prisoners.

"VP Moderator Gewn Ifill In The Tank For Obama"

Ain't that a bucket of crap!
As I wrote in my blof today: Lets face it, make all the jokes you want to. Let Saturday Night Live have their fun with Sarah Palin, but the facts are right there in the open, Sarah Palin is the only one of the candidates who has made ANY executive decisions and run any executive branch of a government....ANY!
All the others including Barack Hussein Obama "Chosen One" himself have only looked in from the outside. 0bama's trip to Germany where he spoke as if he was running for President of the World , turned out to be the second attraction of a "Rock Concert"
Ok, so Sarah Palain’s weakness is foreign policy experience. How much foreign policy experience did Bill Clinton have when he ran for president as the Governor from Arkansas? Or how much foreign policy experience did Jimmy Carter have coming from a farming town in Plains, Georgia?
But no one even questions 0bama’s foreign policy experience! After all, he’s the one that’s running for president, NOT Sarah Palin!

Enjoy the fact that you're still allowed to criticize a disabled, African-American woman who works for PBS over a substantive policy issue, Marie.
That's probably going to change early in the first weeks of a B-O administration.

Jenn,

I cant believe this Media in the tank for Obama crap that is going on.

Now a Moderator?

She is still probably going to moderate and will try to make Plain look like a fool.

I hope they are prepping her for not only for Biden, but for Ifill too!

Angel,

No they dont, sick isnt it?

Jannie,

Welcome To My Blog :-)

I think Sarah is going to git it out of the park :-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bob,
I dont know what the hell this is, I hope they change moderators! This is going to be so one sided.
Our Sarah was sent to kick ass and shoot Caribou, and she's all out of Caribou LOL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

DD,

If ya think about it there have been more President's that have been Governors than Senators!

Although Sarah isnt running for President you are right she is the ONLY candidate that has made ANY executive decisions!

Uncle P,

Yeah I know, we will all probably be in chains.

Thank God we have the right to keep and bare arms.

My first comment at your blog. You are one straight shooter! Drop in and visit us at the W bar E Ranch down in Texas sometime.

Maybe you can help solve a murder. Or enjoy the country music.

Adios!

Marie, I don't think there was EVER a Senator that was elected to the Presidency.

Actually, DD2, there have been 15 presidents who were senators at one time. They were: James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson (who had also been Governor of Florida and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives), Martin Van Buren (who had also been Governor of New York), William Henry Harrison (who had also been Governor of Indiana), John Tyler (who had been Governor of Virgina), Franklin Pierce (also a member of the House of Representatives), James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson (who was not only Governor of Tennessee, but later became the only former President ever elected to the U.S. Senate), Benjamin Harrison, Warren G. Harding (who had been Lieutenant Governor of Ohio), Harry S. Truman, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon. Several of them were vice presidents (Johnson, Truman, Nixon and Johnson, for instance).

Might as well, Marie. I've got a lot of free time on my hands now that everybody's broke and can't pay their lawyers.
