Obama Playing Games With The Lives Of Our Troops FOR HIS BENEFIT!!!

OBAMA TRIED TO STALL GIS' IRAQ WITHDRAWAL

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says.

Though Obama claims the US presence is "illegal," he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the "weakened Bush administration," Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate.

While in Iraq, Obama also tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined.

Obama has made many contradictory statements with regard to Iraq. His latest position is that US combat troops should be out by 2010. Yet his effort to delay an agreement would make that withdrawal deadline impossible to meet.

Supposing he wins, Obama's administration wouldn't be fully operational before February - and naming a new ambassador to Baghdad and forming a new negotiation team might take longer still.

By then, Iraq will be in the throes of its own campaign season. Judging by the past two elections, forming a new coalition government may then take three months. So the Iraqi negotiating team might not be in place until next June.

Then, judging by how long the current talks have taken, restarting the process from scratch would leave the two sides needing at least six months to come up with a draft accord. That puts us at May 2010 for when the draft might be submitted to the Iraqi parliament - which might well need another six months to pass it into law.

What the hell is this? Was Barack Obama hoping for an Obama administration to make it look as if he was responsible for getting the Troops out of Iraq? Isnt this some kind of Violation? This is truly UNFRIGGENREAL! Obama playing with our Troops lives to make it look like it was his success? THERE NEEDS TO BE AN INVESTIGATION!!!

LOLOLOLOL...you're kidding, right?

NY POST (according to Wikipedia)

Since 1993, it has been owned by Australian-born billionaire Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, which previously had owned it from 1976 to 1988, and is one of the 10 largest newspapers in the United States.

The Murdoch Years

While in the past the newspaper had been a long-established politically liberal stalwart, in recent years the paper has adopted a conservative slant (!), reflecting Murdoch's politics.

Murdoch imported the sensationalist "tabloid journalism" style of his British tabloid papers such as The Sun, typified by the Post's famous April 15, 1983 headline: HEADLESS BODY IN TOPLESS BAR. In its 35 year anniversary edition, NY Magazine listed this as one of the greatest headlines ever.

Under Murdoch's renewed direction, the paper continued its conservative editorial viewpoint. In 2008, the New York Post endorsed the Republican candidate John McCain for president.

LOLOLOLOL...This is too easy!

Sarah would never had done anything like that. After she gets elected they should hold hearing and Obama should be investigated for violating the The Logan Act.

The story you posted is from the NY Post. I just listed FACTS about the NY Post. It's about one degree north of the National Enquirer.

Which would explain many things Marie...

This is despicable! Sarah Palin has a lot of explaining to do!

Just look at this FACTUAL NEWS article! (The NY Post and the National Enquirer are my two trusted news sources ;)

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER’S exclusive ongoing investigation of GOP VP Nom Sarah 'Barracuda' Palin’s goes far beyond a mere teen pregnancy crisis this week!

The Enquirer’s team of reporters has combed the Alaskan wilderness to discover the hidden truth about Gov. Palin’s family, which has become a central part of her political identity.

The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that Sarah's oldest son, Track, was addicted to the power drug OxyContin for nearly the past two years, snorting it, eating it, smoking it and even injecting it. And as Track, 19, heads to Iraq as part of the U.S. armed forces, Sarah and her husband Todd were powerless to stop his wild antics, detailed in the new issue of The ENQUIRER, which goes on sale today.

THE ENQUIRER also has exclusive details about Track's use of other drugs, including cocaine, and his involvement in a notorious local vandalism incident.

“I’ve partied with him (Track) for years,” a source disclosed. “I’ve seen him snort cocaine, snort and smoke OxyContin, drink booze and smoke weed.”

The source also divulged the girls would do anything for Track and he’d use his local celebrity status to manipulate other guys “to get them to steal things he wanted.”

“He finally did what a lot of troubled kids here do,” the source divulged. “You join the military.”

And as Gov. Palin has billed the state of Alaska for various expenses related to her children, as reported by The Washington Post, The ENQUIRER's investigation reveals that she was so incensed by 17-year-old Bristol's pregnancy that she banished her daughter from the house.

Another family friend revealed pre-prego Bristol was as much of a hard partier as Track was.

“Bristol was a huge stoner and drinker. I’ve seen her smoke pot and get drunk and make out with so many guys. All the guys would brag that the just made out with Bristol.”

When Sarah found out the teen was pregnant by high schooler Levi Johnston, she was actually banished from the house. As part of the cover-up, Palin quickly transferred Bristol to another high school and made her move in with Sarah’s sister Heather 25 miles away!

And the ENQUIRER also learned that Levi Johnston, the baby mamma’s future wedded dada, who was glad handed by John McCain at the GOP Convention, isn’t too happy about his impending shotgun nups either.

“Levi got dragged out of the house to go to Minnesota,” Levi’s friend told The ENQUIRER. “Levi realizes he’s stuck being with Bristol because her mom is running for Vice President.”

The friend also confided that both Bristol and Levi “broke up a few times and they definitely messed around with other people.”

Meanwhile, as members of the Palin family’s war viciously over “Trooper-Gate” and claims of Sarah’s extramarital affair have turned the political race into a chaotic arena of threats, denials and vicious attacks by political black ops, The ENQUIRER has discovered shocking new details about the red-hot affair scandal!

Woman,

Please...you're no more American than I am and I am no more American than you are.

That is the most ignorant, childish and unpatriotic thing you can possibly say. But that would be congruent with the McSame campaign, understood.

Just because someone does not cosign the Bush/McSame Regime or can actually post an original thought does not make them "unamerican".

Whenever you get done talking about yourself your posts generally prove unAmerican or antiAmerican. It's like Obama complaining about people questioning his patriotism. If you have to tell people your a Patriot most people won't believe you because it's a perception thing. Nobody for one mintue questions your disdain for America faux guy.

We'll se how that story fleshes out about Governor Palin's son. It still has to pass the truth test. The Enquirer was right about Edwars because they stumbled across his stupidity shearly by accident. They went after the Governor's son story.

Y'know, Marie, the federalist's latest posts remind me of a story I heard in law school.
A defense lawyer is filling in for another attorney from his firm on an important case. He gets to the courthouse and looks at the file just as the judge walks it. All he finds is a note from the other lawyer that says, "Case is hopeless. Attack plaintiff's ancestry."
The moral is, you go with what you've got.
The larger point is, nothing will do but that we must have a black man as President, even if we have to violate the Logan Act and rely on the National Enquirer to do it.
Makes you wonder what the Enquirer would come up with if they started sniffing around the Kennedy compound, yes?

Oh, and by the way...
That "Headless Body In Topless Bar" headline may have been a little over the top from a literary standpoint, but the accompanying story was about a decapitated corpse discovered in a drinking establishment where dancers performed nude above the waist. As far as anybody has been able to tell, both the headline, cheesy as it was, and the story were completely accurate.

The jack ass is a hypocritical political animal who sees everything as his personal play thing to get a vote...even the lives of our men and women in uniform.

This is also why they are in a panic now as they have disovered that the messiah is no longer given a free pass with the people as the scrutiny escallates and the truth about Obama comes to light. The average John Doe voter is now paying attantion and wonders how in the world this idiot became the Dems nominee much and is actually running for President!

A Barack Obama spokesperson issued a statement from Sen. Obama today that unwittingly confirms the fact that he did interfere with U.S. - Iraq negotiations on the eventual withdrawal of U.S. Forces from Iraq! In the quote below, the Obama Campaign was trying to deny that he interfered, but in the actual statement it confirms the fact that he did!

Barack Obama's White House campaign angrily denied Monday a
report that he had secretly urged the Iraqis to postpone a deal to withdraw US
troops until after November's election.

In the New York Post,
conservative Iranian-born columnist Amir Taheri quoted Iraqi Foreign Minister
Hoshyar Zebari as saying the Democrat made the demand when he visited Baghdad in
July, while publicly demanding an early withdrawal.

"He asked why we
were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the
formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview,
according to Taheri.

"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security
agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping
the matter open," Zebari reportedly said.

The Republican campaign of
John McCain seized on the report to accuse Obama of double-speak on Iraq,
calling it an "egregious act of political interference by a presidential
candidate seeking political advantage overseas."

But Obama's
national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri's article bore "as much
resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial."

In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through
a "Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after
President George W. Bush leaves office, she said.

Hmmmmmmmm

Our society is selective assigning veracity to articles and commentaries; and we should be. But it does seem as though much of what we see, hear, or read about follows the path of the lowest common denominator. Even if it is difficult to imagine a liberal agreeing with Newt Gingrich, he’s a smart enough fellow – we ought to think about what he has to say.

Still, it really is hard to give much credence to the Rosie O’Donnell type hate-mongers. We should probably understand that everyone has an agenda. This past week, I’ve received at least twenty emails from a long-time friend, each one highlighting some horrendous claim about Sarah Palin. I’ve ignored the communiqués because I prefer to keep what few friends I have, but I must say the claims were simply vile. None supported by “Fact Check.”

Over my lifetime, I have learned there are certain truths – most involving “Murphy’s Laws.” One of these is that there is nothing beneath the dignity of a politician. Whether this article recounting Obama’s attempted deal with Iraq is true, I don’t know. But because we know politicians for what they are, it does appear plausible. Even if we discount 90% of the information available about Senator Obama, he is still not the guy I want to see in the White House. In civil law, we call this “a preponderance of evidence.” There is definitely a crawdad in the curtain rod.

Now as for who is a patriot, I think it is fair to distinguish between those who have served, and those who haven’t. Individuals who in good conscience would not serve their country are American by accident of birth; they are the beneficiaries of American men and women who placed themselves in harms way.

Keep away from the issues, keep Caribou Barbie out of interviews and away from the media and keep 'em distracted! (McSame strategy)
