This may be the first time that I disagree with you Marie. I do like Condi, but not now, not for this position.
McCain has a very good chance of winning this thing and she would ruin that chance without a doubt. He would lose ALL the cross-over Democrats and Independent as well
She would always be referenced to the Bush administration and a bring down for McCain who is trying to set himself apart from Bush.
DD,
I was hoping Condi as VP would enhance the experience argument.
But then again you may be right.
I agree Marie, I also think Condi would make a great VP. But, and a VERY BIG BUT, it will drastically hurt McCain’s chances of winning.
no no no!..She has been pro Hamasssssssssss and pro Musssssssslim and anti Israel all the way..no way girl!
Condi for McCain's VP?
I think it's an awesome idea!
DD,
Well,
I was thinking she may help the ticket but the consensus seems to be NO!!!!
LOL
Angel,
no no no!..She has been pro Hamasssssssssss and pro Musssssssslim and anti Israel all the way..no way girl!
Well I never saw it that way, she was trying to be a peacemaker as well as Sec.Of.State, but she also understands the consequences of a speedy withdrawl from Iraq, which even Barack Obama's Campaign team admit's cant be accomplished in 90 days or whatever Obama thinks he can get the Troops out before the Country falls into the hands of Iran.
Even Obama's own Foreign Policy Team say's Obama HAS to leave at least 80,000 Troops in Iraq, that's going to put a hitch in Obama's git along!
The Foregin Policy People are trying to tell the truth about the situation in Iraq and Obama doesnt want to hear it. Does Obama want to go back later and straighten Iraq out? Or get it done NOW?
We have NEVER liberated a Country without leaving at least 1 base there and that's the way it will happen in Iraq no matter if the Liberals like it or not that's the way things are done.
The Liberals were duped into believing the Democrats were going to Impeach Bush, Hang Cheney in front of the Congress for all to see, and charegs against the entire Bush administration.
They are once again making false promises they cannot keep.
But the Democrats listened to them when they thought they were going to bring the curtain down on Bush/Cheney, and nothing they wanted ever happened.
But let them keep making false promises they cannot possibly keep, and let the Democrats fall hook, line, and sinker for thier Preposterous Plans.
Joanne,
Condi for McCain's VP?
I think it's an awesome idea!
Hmmmm, A Liberal rooting for Condi? Maybe I am wrong lol
If it's something you like Joanne it cant possibly be good news for us lol
WHAT A FANTASTIC IDEA!
The only person who is more discriminated against than black males in America are black females. This ought to go over great with the southern Republicans.
But then again, she's been living in the "house" for 7 years...not in the "field". "Are WE sick, boss?"
One can only pray...
Here's what you should be asking yourself: the Democrats are absolutely murdering each other bloody and McSame only has a 1 point lead over either of them!
He should be ahead by 20 points or more! The fact that he's not should be more than alarming.
You need divine intervention to win this election...or Karl Rove and another rigged election.
I think it would be great. Condi is an American icon and she elicits the type of excitement and buzz that Obama does. Many Obama supporters disagree on some of his viewpoints but they still adore him. Condi Rice is very well respected and liked by the majority of Americans. She will not hurt the ticket but in fact she will help it. More important than all, Condi would make a great President so of course she is suited to be a VP. McCain/Rice '08!!
Though I like Condi Rice, I still like Michale Steele better fr the VP slot.
Putting Condi on the ticket will be the only way conservatives will come out to vote for McCain. I include myself in that category. If McCain choose another Rino for a running mate he stands no chance of winning. People do not want Rinos or liberals in control. Haven't we seen enough liberal failures up to this point? Pelosi, Reid, Murtha Clinton, Hussein Obama?
Jenn and Ken,
I was likeing the idea but was also conducting an experiment.
If the Democrats are in favor of Condi Rice being VP, SOMETHING IS WRONG!!
Ok How about Michael Steele?
Us Democrats like Condi Rice: it's not a plot..she is bright, articulate, experienced....AND she does not foam at the mouth! :)
Well BB,
I would probably accept your arguement for Rice, but if you look at Federalist and Anonymous it's like they have ulterior motives!
Get's me a little confused, most Dems think "Yes pick Condi" Cause she'll make McCain lose the election.
And my party is all wishy washy on the issue, so I dont know what to think.
She doesnt foam at the mouth LOL
My biggest problem with Condi as VP for McCain is along the same lines as Angel's -- she is no friend of Israel, despite anything she may say to the contrary, whereas McCain may well be the best friend, President-wise, that they've had in decades.
Israel is a valuable ally, in fact America's only true friend in the Middle east, and the Bush Administration (via Condi) has been defecating on our relationship with them ever since flip-flopping during the war in Lebanon.
