She was slapped TWICE by so-called 'peace activists'.

I am saddened to report this:
Saturday around 12:10 PM, a member of the Chester County Peace Movement (CCPM) slapped a woman twice ( that would be me) who was videotaping an exchange between the two opposing groups. Police were called and an officer arrived at 12:15 PM and announced to the crowd that he was conducting an investigation.
The CCPM member was pointed out to police and the officer told the man to come forward and the man refused. The guy was totally uncooperative, belligerent and would not go with the officer. When he shoved the officer, the officer's partner took him to the ground to be handcuffed. The guy continued to resist while on the ground and the peace movement folks surrounded the officers, some as close as a foot or so away.

I've prided myself in my professional conduct at this rally and to be struck twice by a 'peace' protester who has been present since the time I began covering this rally is truly disturbing.

This is the first I have seen of this video and I am breathing heavily and have to calm down. I keep asking myself why wasn't I there. Like I said to all of you in my email is I believe my guardian angel prevented me from showing up there that day because I would have I would have hospitalized that guy and probably been arrested too.

Yah, they'll do that. What you can do next time is, run a Google search for "video downloader" and pick one of the items that comes back. Install it according to the developers instructions.
When you find a video that you think might later be taken down from YouTube, download it to your own computer, then post it on your blog with the Blogger add video feature.
That's what I do with these videos that don't fit the narrative, but I'm sure there are geeks and 10 year olds who can give you a better solution.

I would just caution you all in considering that too much information put out there may threaten to jeopardize or sabotage skye's legal case. That is why I urge restraint in blogging this. I know we're angry, I know we feel the need to vent; but take care that anything we say in public can be seized upon by lawyers.
skye initially shared the video in a private email, but I'm not sure the person who uploaded it received permission to do so. It's evidence for a court of law.

I might as well admit I had an incident happen to me, (However this is Oklahoma) I smashed a printer over a certain person's head once, and they took me to jail for assault with a dangerous, and assualt and battery.
The state was going to pick up the charges, but the other person involved dropped the charges on me. There were NO other witnesses.
In Skye's case, there were plenty of witnesses they can bring to court because it was public. It's on YouTube, Move America Forward is involved and probably a whole host of others willing to testify.
I didnt have all that, it wasnt a public dispaly of disobedience by a so called "Group".
In Skye's case being as it WAS a group, even if Skye dropped the charges (Which I doubt she will), the State is entitled to pick it up if they have other witnesses willing to testify, which I'm quite sure there are plenty. And Move America Forward will be the first in line to procreate this event, there will be a mountain of evidence against this idiot, and Skye really doesnt have to do anything but testify.
There were to many witnesses, and now to many groups involved to make this go away.

At this point, all of what we are saying is pure speculation. What we do know is the peacer in question assaulted two West Chester Police officers and that is indisputable, he's going to answer for that. The police no doubt have been filming this whole protest/counter protest thing, it's right out in front of the Courthouse and Justice Center.
Second of all; the District attorney is the one who decides whether to go forward with the charges against this guy for assaulting Skye. He has to examine all the evidence first to make that determination. Skye can make the criminal complaint but it's the District Attorney that will determine the way forward according to evidence provided.
The DA is a law and order Republican but Skye is from Philly and this John peacer guy is a retired Downingtown school official which is big money school district. He probably has a few get out of Jail Free cards under his belt.

Well Philadelphia lawyers do not live in Philadelphia, they practice there. They ride my trains into the city every day and live in Chester county and some of the other surrounding counties so John peacer and his buddy Karen Porter the head of his peacer cell have connections with more than just a few.
The DA has to also weigh other things like; many of the peacers are Quakers and they are powerful and notorious troublemakers in this area. This is not the first time I have seen the involvement of the Quakers in political manipulation. Everyone has the idea that Quakers are this benign religious sect when nothing could be further than the truth. They are skilled and powerful political manipulators and are a very self interested organization. I'm assuming we'll soon be reading about FCNL and Brandywine Peace getting involved.
There are other pictures and videos taken by peacers of this incident and I can guarantee that. If those other videos show more clearly that Skye was assaulted by the peacer that will probably be more evidence but it might not be available because this incident happened among the peacers in front of the Swope Building (County owned too) across the street from the Courthouse where the Americans are.
The peacers have been relegated to stamp their wittle feet across the street since the Americans arrived on scene. They are also angry about that too.
This thing in West Chester is getting bigger by the day.

This appears to be a defense mechanism that protects you from engaging in any serious debate. When the argument leans towards details, you shout an insult and walk away. Dysfunctional, but that is all you have to work with...how can anyone fault you?

I encourage you to enroll at a nearby community college or university. Look into a course in critical thinking/literary theory. By doing so you may learn how to deconstruct text and formulate an argument based on facts and truth.
