Dubai Paid Big $$$ To Bill Clinton

Dubai's 'Boycott Israel' Sheik Funded Bill Clinton

Former President Bill Clinton has accepted at least $1.6 million from the United Arab Emirates, including $300,000 from a Dubai sheik who adamantly backs the country's controversial boycott of Israel.

On Jan. 17, 2002, Mr. Clinton was paid $300,000 to address the Science, Technology and Arts Royal Summit in Dubai at the invitation of Crown Prince and UAE Defense Minister Sheik Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Less than three months later, Sheik Mohammad urged the United Nations to approve the use of force against Israel's to halt what he called the Jewish state's "butchery" of Palestinians, according to London's Financial Times.

Mr. Clinton's benefactor called for then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to "stand trial before the International War Crimes Tribunal," where Sheik Mohammad said he would "have a prominent place in the list of world's killers, terrorists and criminals."

The Dubai sheik then reminded that "Arabs have a wide room for political, diplomatic and economic moves and have the right, at least, to revive the Arab economic boycott to Israel."
Mr. Clinton accepted another $300,000 from the Dubai regime for a speech in 2005. And his presidential library in Little Rock has collected seven-figure sums from several Arab governments participating in the anti-Israel boycott, including Dubai.

In Sept. 2005, the New York Sun reported:

"When the library opened last year, a computer display in the exhibit halls included information on some, but not all, donors. The Saudi Royal Family and the governments of Dubai, Kuwait, and Qatar all gave $1 million or more."

The paper noted that after it published a previous list including Mr. Clinton's Arab donors, "the computer display was shut off. It has not been restored."

On Thursday morning, NewsMax called the offices of Mr. Clinton, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. Charles Schumer, Rep. Peter King and the Anti-Defamation League in New York, inquiring about the appropriateness of Mr. Clinton taking so much cash from a country that boycotts Israel.
None of the calls had been returned by presstime.

What's really funny about this is that Hillary is against the sale of the terminals to the UAE. She and Bill are on opposite sides here. I think that's because she is playing politics and he really wants the sale to go through. He probably has money in it himself.

Most likely, she is for the sale, too but thinks it is to her advantage to be against it, politically.

Yep Clinton is up to neck in this one. And Hillary knew Clinton sold port ownership to then Communist China during his administration. I hope they have a good whoopla over this at home!!

Talk about, talk about, talk about, talk about...

THE CLINTONS!

While Bush's numbers TANK, TANK, TANK.

BUSH: ONE OF AMERICA'S MOST UNPOPULAR PRESIDENTS IN POST-WAR HISTORY.

MAYBE AS UNLIKED AS WAS JIMMEH CARTER?

Heh.

Talking about the Clintons won't hep your guy's tanking numbers.

A MAJORITY OF AMERICANS THINK HE SUCKS.

You guys may not care about polls, but you better believe that Unka KKKarl does.

Maybe it's time to put a flight suit on Bush and get him to land on a boat somewhere with a banner that says "Mission Effed Up!"

Bush should try the truth for a change. It could help his numbers.

Remember how Americans dislike liars? Talk to Bill Clinton...

Something confuses me here. Whenever the discussion turns to the Democrats, somebody invariably brings up George W. Bush's allegedly declining popularity in the polls. I can see why liberals would want to change the subject, but as a substantive matter, so what? Bush can't run for another term (it being central to liberal mythology that the elections of 2000 and 2004 don't count), he's got Republican majorities in both houses of Congress, and, unlike President Bartlett on "The West Wing", his staff doesn't feel the need to commission a poll before deciding whether to send out for Chinese food or pizza.
So, what does he care what the polls say? He doesn't.
Incidentally, I believe its spelled "Jimmah al-Carter".

Heh. "allegedly declining popularity" Heh. Every poll, including Faux News has Bush at 40% or lower.

No, he can't run anymore (there are things to be grateful for), but his declining numbers are an indication of how Americans think about his failed policies and his lies.

You guys keep your heads in the sand and pretend that everything is hunky-dory and your hero is as great as Unka KKKarl says he is.

Kool-Aid? Heh.

When one denies reality, as you guys do, who's drinking the Kool-Aid?

NOthing's changed with us libruls. We always knew that George W. Bush was a fraud. And so did the rest of the world.

Now America is waking up.

Of course, they are. If you say something enough, it will become true. Isn't that how liberalism works?
