Bravo President Bush
President Bush reminded us for the Umpteenth time last night why it is important for us to keep our Resolve and our Courage while we press on with this Global War on Terrorism.
I didnt need to be reminded, I have always kept my Resolve.
But of course there are those that do and I am glad he reminded them.
Hopefully his speech didnt fall on deaf ears, but as I have read and watched some news reports this morning on some of those ears on the left it was deaf.
Which is sad because it discourages our troops, and they wonder if they are losing support at home.
It also discourages the 30 Coalition Troops that are in Iraq, our allies that are helping in other ways by training the Iraqi troops, those that are hunting down the terrorists, and the Iraqi people themselves.
All in all I thought it was a very good speech, I just hope the "Blame America First" crowd thinks about all those that DO want to accomplish the mission they set out to do.
If they dont, those American deaths and the deaths of Coalition troops will have been for nothing.
The United States of America is NOT the only country who have something to lose in
this.
So does the World.

George W Bush is an honorable man with integrity and compassion. I heard on the radio today, that he held a meeting with 30+ widows of men who had died fighting for us in Iraq, and immediately thereafter had a personal meeting with one of the wives, who praised the President afterwards, urging him to "stay the course" so her husband and the 1700+ other soldiers will not have died in vain.
This meeting was unattended by the press, who the President refuses to allow in these meetings, which he holds often with out the knowledge or the recognition of the mainstream press. What a contrast to Bill Clinton, who never missed a photo op!
Hmm, did you guys pause to note, while cooing over President Bush, that after that speech his popularity polls and support for the war in Iraq dropped another point?
i suppose. Polls are opinions, and you know what opinions are like. Regardless of what opinion polls say, President Bush remains honorable and still has integrity, and thank God, doesn't care what the polls say. He will do what he thinks is right.
too bad the war on terror never included Iraq.
You've said it all:
"The United States of America is NOT the only country who have something to lose in this. So does the World."
Great post!
