Next week Move America Forward will be leading a caravan to Crawford, Texas - to present an alternative voice to that of Cindy Sheehan, who has become the heroine of the "Blame America First" crowd.
The Move America Forward's caravan (the "You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy" tour) will consist of family members who have loved ones fighting in the war against terrorism - stationed in either Iraq or Afghanistan. The truth is that the men and women in military and their families are the strongest supporters of the war on terrorism, and they do not agree with the message or antics of Cindy Sheehan. Their voices must now be heard - and with your help we will make sure they ARE heard.
It is also important to note that every time there are stories that Americans do not support the troops fighting in Iraq it emboldens the terrorist insurgents fighting there. We cannot allow MoveOn.org, Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan communicate a false sense of weakness to the terrorists overseas.
Heading up the "You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy" caravan will be Deborah Johns of Northern California Marine Moms. Deborah's son, William is a Marine who has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. [One of Deborah's other sons, Adam Johns, was the organizer of "Operation Fuzzy Wuzzy" which collected and sent 5,000 stuffed animals and teddy bears to the children who survived the terrorist attack on the school in Beslan, Russia].
Deborah was the focus of a TV ad that ran directly counter to one produced by MoveOn.org that featured Cindy Sheehan. You can see Deborah's pro-troop ad that countered Cindy Sheehan's ad below:

Melanie Morgan, Chairman of Move America Forward and talk radio host on KSFO 560 AM - San Francisco, will join the caravan for its final leg into Crawford, Texas. She will lead a grand finale patriotic rally along with Deborah Johns in Crawford, Texas on Saturday, August 27th.
To make this event a success we will be reaching out to organizations such as Protest Warrior, FreeRepublic.com, MarineMoms, and countless others. We will need your assistance in helping spread word of this event to others, in order to make it a giant national success.
This will be an expensive trip for us that can only take place successfully if we receive your financial support.
One of the elements of this trip that will incur substantial costs for us will be the promotion of the caravan and rally via television ads that will air nationwide on Fox News Channel - we want to build as large of a crowd as possible. We want the President to see that the families of America's military men and women are behind him in the fight against terrorism. And, we want to make sure that we also get our message on the air to "rebut" Cindy Sheehan so the American people hear the truth, not the spin through the liberal media.

One, Cindy Sheehan is not blaming America-She's blaming Bush. So do I. All of those war protestors who have joined her are taking the attention away from her-she is a grieving mother who wants the truth; these are leaderless anti-war lefties. And sending down an anti-Sheehan campaign is NOT going to solve the problem. Try being original for a change.

Cindy IS blaming America as a few friends have pointed out to me on this subject. She is not only blaming America, The President and pretty much the rest of us who DO believe in the mission, she isnt commenting at all on who really caused her grief to begin with, THE TERRORIST ASSHOLES THAT KILLED HER SON!!! She is no longer a grieving mother. She is now a member of the far left, and probably always has been who is doing nothing more than drawing attention to the likes of Michael Moore, MoveOn.org, and that bunch of lunatics!
Not only has she givin those lunatics enough Air Time, she is now the spokesperson for everything going wrong (In her view) with everyone, up to and including Israel and the Palestinians!!! Leaderless? Hardly. She has already met with the President once and walked away happy. Now she sings a different tune.
She says war never solved anything, it sure as hell solved World War 2! You cant possibly believe spreading peace thoughout a part of the world that needs it the most will not solve this issue.
