The interim report on the Oil for Food investigation by Paul Volcker
has come out, and Kofi Annan is fighting off growing calls for the
U.N. General Secretary's resignation.

In a press conference following release of the U.N. appointed
committee's investigation into the Oil for Food scam, Annan answered
a reporter's query of "would he consider resigning" with a defiant
response of simply: "Hell No."

Brash statements from Kofi Annan aside, the U.N.-appointed committee
investigating Oil for Food has uncovered a huge amount of
incriminating information on Kofi Annan, Kojo Annan, Benon
Sevan and the United Nations.
