It Is Bad That Our Country Has Come Down To This

It is an absolute Travesty that our Country has been allowed to "STARVE" someone to death! On Purpose!
No matter which side of the Terri Schaivo situation you are on, it has been a heartbreaking ride.
Especially for her family.
I cant picture someone else having complete control over my own daughters welfare, someone who I gave birth to, causing her to now wind up on her deathbed.
It's a shame that the Shindler's and Michael Shaivo couldnt come to an agreement on how Terri should have been handled.
And no-one will ever convince me that Terri wasnt a living human being, who Loved, and responded to her mother, and other family members presence.
At least when all is done, you would think Michael would give Terri back to her family, and at least let them have that!
But what's done is done.
The Court's have ruled.
All the interveining that was done was futile, but at least The Congress, President Bush, and Governor Bush tried.
It's just horrifying to think they (The Hospice) couldnt have given her a shot, instead of starving her to death, if they had to kill her.
Criminals, and Animals get better than that.
But to "STARVE" a Human to DEATH on PURPOSE, is just the most grueling, tortureous, horrifying, thing most of us in this country have ever been witness to, and has certainly brought out alot of issues on both sides.
I know one thing, I am surely getting MY living will up to date.
Terri is probably past the point of no return now.
My condolences to the Schindler family.
And I hope Terri just goes to sleep.
