Right, Marie. Until people realize this, they shouldn't complain about high gas prices.
I signed the petition.
I don't see Democrats permitting ANY legislation by the GOP that addresses this problem to be passed.
But we still need to make it absolutely clear to the voters WHO it is that is blocking the development of new energy supplies which is the primary reason the price of gas is so high.
I'm signed in Marie. I've had enogh from the democraps and now it's time to get them out of there and off our backs.

This is a coincidence, Marie. A friend sent me the petition in an e-mail and I just finished signing it before coming here. :)
There are many things that are causing this problem, including the Democrats, and certainly the liberal enviro-nuts who haven't let us drill for our own oil, but the Chinese aren't having any problem drilling off of Florida's coast! This entire thing makes me furious, and for DD2 to lay the blame entirely on Republican Senators only proves that some people are walking around devoid of brains.
This really has nothing to do with the environment, its all about high profits. trust me if the oil companies could make one penny off drilling the oil, they'd do it. Oil companies and opec have joined forces to cut oil production. The reason is simple, the less that is produced the more they can charge for it. Plain and simple. This is all intentional and until we go after the right people they will keep walking all over us.
